Routine:
BEFORE SCHOOL CARE:
7.00am- centre opens
7.30-8.20am- breakfast served (a variety of healthy cereals, yoghurt & toast)
8.00am- outside activities start (weather permitting)
8.40am- children pack up & get ready for school
8.45-8.55am- roll call & children go to school (note- in Term 1, kindies are walked to their lines)
9am- centre closes
AFTER SCHOOL CARE:
3.00pm- children arrive from school & are marked off on the roll (note- time may vary in line with school procedures)
* note- in Term 1, kindies are collected from their classroom
3.00-3.15pm- sunscreen applied & announcements
3.15-4.00pm- afternoon tea (a variety of healthy snacks- see Menu)
4.00-5.30pm- programmed activities- art, craft, sport, games, gardening, reading, free play…
5.30pm- everyone helps pack up then quiet games till home time
6.00pm- centre closes
INFANTS PROGRAM: (After School Care)
This program is run for Kindergarten and Year 1 children. It is run from the 3 Kindy classrooms in B block. Children will get their names marked off, have afternoon tea and go to activities till it's time to come down to the main centre. The times the children come down will vary; it will normally be around 5.30pm (please have a look at the notice board as you come in, as this will let you know. Sometimes Year 1 may come down earlier). We may also seen a message on the Xplor App please check this before you come in.
JUNIOR'S PROGRAM: (After School Care)
This program is run from the main building. This program is for Years 2,3 & 4 children. Children will get their names marked off, have afternoon tea and then go to activities. Sign out is from here for Years 2-4 families.
SENIOR'S PROGRAM:(After School Care)
This program is for Years 5 & 6 and is run from the F block (ground floor). Children will get their names marked off, have afternoon tea and then go to activities. Seniors will head down to the main Centre at about 5.30pm. Sign out is from here for years 5 & 6 families.
PLEASE NOTE:
There may be times where children from the juniors and the seniors will mix. For example, some of the year 5 & 6 children will come down to the main Centre to play sport with the juniors; children may head to the main Centre a bit earlier, there could be times that a few year 4 children go up to the Senior area.
We will do our best to let you know where your children are through the Xplor App. Please check this before coming into the gate. We could also put a note up on the notice board.
