Routine:
BEFORE SCHOOL CARE:
7.00am- centre opens
7.30-8.20am- breakfast served (a variety of healthy cereals, yoghurt & toast)
8.00am- outside activities start (weather permitting)
8.40am- children pack up & get ready for school
8.45-8.55am- roll call & children go to school (note- in Term 1, kindies are walked to their lines)
9am- centre closes
AFTER SCHOOL CARE:
3.00pm- children arrive from school & are marked off on the roll (note- time may vary in line with school procedures)
* note- in Term 1, kindies are collected from their classroom
3.00-3.15pm- sunscreen applied & announcements
3.15-4.00pm- afternoon tea (a variety of healthy snacks- see Menu)
4.00-5.30pm- programmed activities- art, craft, sport, games, gardening, reading, free play…
5.30pm- everyone helps pack up then quiet games till home time
6.00pm- centre closes
INFANTS PROGRAM:
This program is run for Kindergarten and Year 1 children. It is run from the 3 Kindy classrooms in B block. Children will get their names marked off, have afternoon tea and do activities till it's time to come down to the main centre. The times the children come down will vary (please have a look at the notice board as you come in, as this will let you know. Sometimes Year 1 may come down earlier).
